Description:
Grazing Expert Sarah Flack will join Farmers Phelan and Kelsey O’Connor for a walk through their pastures. You’ll get to be a part of their discussion about raising healthy pigs on healthy pastures. We will talk about the pig impact and managing for animal health as well as soil and plant health.
Phelan and Kelsey raise pastured pork and free-range layers on 170 acres in South Hero, VT.
The event is free for VGFA members and $15 for non-members. Registration is required, it will help us gauge the crowd size. We will gather no matter the weather, so please dress appropriately.
